Can't comment on best tunes, since I've only tried Malone (and am very happy with them in both my Jettas) but I can say, for what it's worth, that I'd really really recommend *not* tuning a vehicle that's already got turbo issues UNTIL you sort out the turbo issues. Aug 16, 2015 · Might be worth contacting a tuning shop to check the suitability of this engine for tuning before you get too involved. Looking through the various VW Group forums there does seem to be a bit of a question mark over the strength of the late 1.9 PD engines such as BXE and BLS putting a leg out of bed (rod through the block) even in stock 105PS tune and with modest mileages despite full service
In the most frequently used VW diesel today, the 2.0 TDI engine with standard 150 HP in the latest version (like in the T5 Bus, Tiguan, Passat and Golf VII), power zooms to over 180 HP and you'll reach 400 Nm and more of torque with all of our chip tuning modules. The 2.0 TDI in the Golf VI features 140 HP and 320 Nm torque.
